If writing and reading still don't work out...

Understanding and solving learning difficulties and behavioral blocks.

When writing and reading are difficult ... and remain so

If reading and spelling are a pain for your child and it becomes increasingly difficult to motivate them to do so, parents can quickly lose their nerve. Worries are added to this when you realize that there is no improvement despite lots of regular practice.

It shows that more of the same does not lead to the goal. There are now important insights into what it takes to learn to read, write and do arithmetic, and what the reasons are why it sometimes doesn't work as easily as it should. Practicing is an important building block, but not the only one.

Several processes happen simultaneously when writing. Seeing, hearing and feeling. You hear the word and repeat it inwardly. You see it in front of your 'inner eye'. A word image is created from the auditory and visual memory. You feel and see what the word must look like.
As the German language is less phonetically accurate than, for example, Italian, the proportion of dyslexics in this country is significantly higher.

Writing with announcement

The following example shows the challenges that our children face:

  1. Filtering out the teacher's voice
  2. Understanding and memorizing
  3. Break down the sentence into individual words and the words into letters. Important here: distinguishing sounds and rethinking and converting them into the correct letters
  4. Put the letters of the respective words in the correct order
  5. Recognize nouns and verbs and place them in the correct relationship

If all this works, it will be flawless. To ensure this, you need acoustic, visual, spatial and physical perception skills that all have to work well together. It sounds super complicated, but it's not.

It is important to know that if more of the same does not bring any improvement for your child, it is time to take action. This saves your child and you as a family time and nerves.

Evolutionary Pedagogy® creates the conditions for stress-free learning. However, if it is found that this does not alleviate the problem, the next step is taken. A test procedure on the computer provides information about any deviations in sensory perception that are relevant for reading, writing and arithmetic. This makes it possible to accurately identify whether the problem is dyslexia or dyslexia. The distinction is important so that an individual training plan can be drawn up. Dyslexia has many different faces and manifestations. Early recognition and individual support enable one and, together with consistent practice, this leads to better school performance and thus to an easier everyday life.

There is always a solution. Let's tackle it:-)
